Burned out in orange

Wednesday, March 18, 2015

Flowers, stripes, birds are all wonderful prints when paired well together. Like this look...it's flowery, the color match makes it impressive compared to color blocking it. It gives the idea of a much more serious look, something you will wear to the office, an important causual meeting or church.
Yeah I know I could have done better with another post title however saying "orange is the new black" sounded pretty corny to me. ( who watches that movie anyways, I just can't bring myself to watch it, guess I'm more of an empire series kind of person right now).

So to the post, well truth be told I never wear this much of color, ever! I am drawn to safer colors, those more basic colors, but where's the fun In that?! This bright colors are not suitable for everyone I know, they might not look as good as I think they do on me. But do I regret it? No. Of late I've been experimenting and I guess I can check "wear an extremely bright color" of that list.
I will be featuring some totally badass stylists and fashion icons soon and it will be a Q&A session. So do look out for that post.
And that's that for today's post, so what do you all think about matching prints with bright colors? If you fancy watching the series orange is the new black, how about you give me reasons to.
Leave a comment for me and I will reply as soon as possible. Kisses.

  1. Hmmm Badass!!

  2. I actually prefer this post title as "Orange is the new black" is unoriginal since everyone's been using it. I adore this outfit, the skirt and fit on you is gorgeous. I love that you went with the blue flower top for a bit of colour-blocking. While the white blazer is the perfect finishing touch to this look.
